Mail Provider
In Smart Form Notifications, your "Mail Provider" is the engine that sends your automated messages. By default, we leverage your trusted Google infrastructure for maximum deliverability.
1. Default Provider: Gmail
Zero Configuration
No third-party SMTP or external services required. It works out of the box.
Native Tracking
Sent notifications appear in your Gmail 'Sent' folder for easy auditing.
Encrypted Path
Data never leaves the Google environment, ensuring enterprise-grade privacy.

2. Quotas and Limits
Google enforces daily sending limits to prevent spam. Your "budget" depends on your Google account type.
Personal Account
Standard @gmail.com addresses. Best for small projects or low-volume forms.
Business / Edu
Professional Google Workspace domains. Designed for enterprise automation.
3. Custom SMTP & Aliases
Premium users can professionalize their communications by sending from aliases (e.g., support@company.com) instead of their primary login email.
Send as Alias
Configure different "From" addresses for different workflows to keep departments organized.
White-labeling
Remove our branding from your notification footers for a 100% white-labeled experience.
Troubleshooting Delivery
Quota Monitoring
Always watch the quota bar in the sidebar. Submissions made after your limit is hit will not trigger emails.
Service Failures
If Google's Gmail service is temporarily down, check the 'Execution Logs' for the exact 'Service Failed' timestamp.
Formatted Emails
Ensure your recipient email addresses (static or markers) are formatted correctly to avoid bounce-back errors.
